Our Shot: April 9, 2025

Welcome to the first edition of Our Shot, a weekly newsletter of actions that anyone can take to resist the Trump administration.

Each week we will send you two ideas - one smaller, one larger - of actions that are accessible to anyone, especially kids. Our goal is to inspire and motivate, and to remind people that even in small everyday moments we can resist.

This week's actions are in response to the recent tariffs.

Smaller action: Reach out to a friend or family member who lives far from you - bridge the distance between you and bring the world closer together in the face of tariffs that aim to isolate the United States from its neighbors.

Larger action: Shop at a small, local business - the ones that will struggle more than larger corporations to handle the financial shock of the tariffs.
