Our Shot: September 24, 2025
Welcome to the 23rd edition of Our Shot, a weekly newsletter of actions that anyone (especially kids) can take to resist the Trump administration.
Smaller action: Push back on the recent Trump administration claims that Tylenol use during pregnancy causes autism.
I had trouble even explaining to Leo why Trump and autism were in the news this past week because there are so many layers of upsetting and ridiculous to the whole announcement, but we agreed that we wanted to share some clear information and pushback. Let us know if you've found other articles or resources - we would be happy to share (the second link has a bunch of annoying ads but also compiles some great input from autism groups)!

Larger action: Get (or schedule) your flu shot!
This is both a great time in terms of resistance and a great time in terms of seasons to get your flu shot! Vaccines are an important way for us to take care of ourselves and the people around us. Get your flu shot on the calendar! Encourage your friends and family to get theirs!
Do you have any ideas for actions people can take? Have you taken an action of resistance that you would like to share? Please email ctsvirsky@gmail.com to let us know - we would love to hear from you!
We are not throwing away our shot!
